Visual artwork of any medium will be considered, but must meet certain size and weight criteria. Works previously exhibited at The Hudgens Center for the Arts are ineligible and all work must have been completed within the last two years.
The entry fee is non-refundable and entitles each artist to submit up to five entries. The entry fee for members of The Hudgens is $30, and the fee for non-members is $50 (includes one annual Artist level membership).
Jurors for The Hudgens Prize include David Kiehl, Curator of Prints at The Whitney Museum of American Art; Sylvie Fortin, Editor-in-Chief of ART PAPERS Magazine; and Eungie Joo, Keith Haring Director and Curator of Exhibitions and Public Programs at the New Museum in New York.
