Field Trips

Field Trips slots are scheduled for 10:30 a.m. Tuesdays through Fridays. We can accommodate only one field trip per day for groups of 30 or fewer.

Appointments must be scheduled and confirmed by the Hudgens staff prior to the day of the field trip, so that we can be sure to have plenty of art supplies and scavenger hunt materials prepared for your group to enjoy. Please call 770-623-6002 to arrange your visit.

Field Trips consist of a self-guided tour of our current exhibits, a scavenger hunt, and a visit to the Children’s Art Zone to make hands-on art projects.

Our Al Weeks Sculpture Garden, which was recently designated a Georgia Audubon Society Wildlife Refuge, is available for your group to enjoy a picnic lunch in a lovely outdoors environment if weather permits. Lunch is not provided, so be sure to bring your own. We do not have indoor facilities in the event of rain.

Each group should provide an appropriate number of chaperones and pay general admission for each person. Our field trip fees are $5 per person (adults & children), and free for children 2 years old and under.

Field trips generally last approximately 1 hour.

Adult groups may request a guided tour by special arrangement for an additional fee. Please contact Angela Nichols at 770-623-6002 for more information about guided tours.
