FAMILY DAY

The Hudgens Center hosts this free event each quarter and invites the public to attend and share the enjoyment. Parents, grandparents and relatives join with the children in this interactive, art-enriching engagement experience. Each Family Day has a theme, which can range from Halloween to Harry Potter to something that ties in to a current exhibition at the Hudgens Center.

TODDLER FRIDAY

Young children, ages 1-4, and their parents or care givers will have a fun time at Toddler Friday, held on the last Friday of each month. The 45-minute sessions include story time, music, crafts and offers a wonderful way to help the child begin to develop critical thinking skills. Free for family membership or $5 non members. Register HERE!

HEALING ARTS

This monthly program offers, at no cost, an artistic outlet and sense of community for the developmentally disabled, those living with physical/mobility challenges, cancer patients and caregivers. Sessions are led by professional artists and art therapists. We partner with Peachtree Christian Health, Spectrum Autism, The F.U.N. Club, and other nonprofit/health organizations to facilitate the Healing Arts programs.

This has proven to be one of the most popular offerings. Bring your own snacks and beverages and one of our talented instructors will guide you through the process of painting your own masterpiece in the inspirational setting of the Al Weeks Sculpture Garden! All supplies are provided and no experience is necessary to uncover your inner Van Gogh. Attendance is capped at 25, so these opportunities fill up fast!
